The whole 16th century building has been renovated many times, last in 2010 and the project was designed by the holistic architect Brunella Franceschini who is also the property's owner, in the past it used to be her ancestor's summer holiday villa and they used to come from Spoleto by carriages to enjoy the mountain fresh air (we are at about 900 mts of altitude)...

With much attention and love the apartments have been created with particular attention on comfort and harmony using natural materials like local limestone and chestnut wood. The furniture is entirely made with natural wood and it's also integrated with ancient family furnishings. The atmosphere is warm and cozy.

The apartments include a large bedroom with a chestnut wooden loft and two beds, a big bathroom (shower) with window, a living room with stone fireplace and another loft with two further beds, a fully equipped cooking corner.

Few steps away you could enjoy genuine biological food at the Restaurant il Vecchio Ippocastano. A two min walking distance there is the local bazar with fresh daily food products.

You need a car while staying at the property to discover the nearby historic towns of Cascia, Norcia and Spoleto or to get to the National Park of Sibillini Mountains.

The property boasts a brand new 5X10 mt pool with salt water. There is a  big pergola area  just outside the big breakfast room where you can eat "al fresco" and use the property's barbecue .
