Excellent holiday situation with just a few steps across the Esplanade to the magnificent mile long beach for swimming, water sports or just lazing in a deck chair.

Stroll along the seafront and admire the views of the cliffs and Jurassic coastline with coastal footpaths to Lyme Regis in one direction and the picturesque fishing village of Beer in the other.

Conveniently just a 5 minute level stroll to the local shops and cafes. The pretty Axe Harbour with yacht club is located just around the corner. Nearby are the coastal towns of Lyme Regis "the Pearl of Dorset" and Sidmouth "the quintessential English seaside resort."

Seaton - Gateway to the Jurassic Coast

Pretty, friendly, traditional seaside town, the first in East Devon from Dorset, situated at the mouth of the River Axe overlooking the spectacular Lyme Bay. Bright, relaxed and uncommercialized resort with mixture of Victorian and Edwardian architecture and pedestrianised town centre.

Superb mile long pebble beach with promenade with rock pools at Seaton Hole on the western end.

Unique scenic walks along the South West Coastal path to Lyme Regis by the famous Landslip and over the cliffs to Beer.

The Jubilee and Seafield Gardens with Cactus house, children's playground, putting green and tennis courts are ideal places to visit. Aslo, worth a visit is the award winning Seaton Labyrinth, a 60ft diameter spiral walk, made from seven types of stone from the World Heritage Coast.

Open top tram travels by the beautiful River Axe Valley, the Nature Reserve for wildlife enthusiasts - a bird lovers paradise to nearby Colyford and Colyton.
