We are ideally situated to access many of the best beaches in the South Hams, with Salcombe, Bantham, Bigbury, Slapton Sands all within half an hour. Coastal walks and country pubs galore. We are ten minutes from the charming estuary town, Kingsbridge, which provides multiple restaurants and cafes, an artisan bakery, grocers, several butchers, an arts cinema plus many more charming gift and furnishing shops.
The property consists of a spacious kitchen-diner, with patio doors leading onto a sunny patio, spacious decking area and a secluded south-west facing garden. The view consists of rolling hills stretching beyond a wild swimming pool to the horizon. Two double bedrooms downstairs share use of a shower room. There is a further WC and utility room. Upstairs, our lounge has a high pitched roof with dramatic beams. One double bedroom upstairs has a juliet balcony over the courtyard and another double, a mezzanine floor above and more stunning views. The stove in the lounge guarantees cosy evenings. There is a generous mezzanine floor over the lounge with 2 fold away camp beds providing a fifth room (if required) or a games room with fold away pool table. All rooms have beautiful antique furniture. The family bathroom has a large corner bath with shower over.This is our home so it's well equipped.

An area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' that encompasses picturesque estuaries and a stunning coastline with miles of unspoilt beaches and hidden coves to a lush hinterland that extends to the wild untamed heathland of Dartmoor, there is variety for all. From the richly wooded Dart Valley and the historic deepwater port of Dartmouth all the way to Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island, you can discover the charm of charismatic coastal villages and towns.
Beautiful beaches at Salcombe, Soar Mill, Bantham, Thurlestone, Bigbury, Slapton Sands (all within half an hour's drive). Stunning stretches of coastal walks to explore. For the more sedentary, many fantastic country pubs to relax with good food and drink. Seafood restaurants, for example 'The Oyster Shack' nr Aveton Gifford, or 'The Winking Prawn' at North Sands, Salcombe. The South Devon Chilli farm is 4 minutes drive away. The Avon Mill Garden Centre in Loddiswell is renowned for it's good food and lovely setting. Dartmouth is only 40 minutes from us, likewise Totnes. Kingsbridge is our local town - just 5 miles away, with quaint local shops and great cafes and restaurants available, to meet all your needs.
For the sporting, there is a fishing lake about 5 minutes drive from our house, golf courses at Bigbury and Thurlestone. Sailing at Kingsbridge and Salcombe, sea kayaking and other watersports. Dartmoor is only 7 miles from us - we are pretty much equidistant from the coast to dartmoor.
