'Chez Molly' is conveniently situated in the South West, near to the border of the “South” Charente and the Dordogne. It lies in the tranquil village of St Quentin de Chalais and is surrounded by green fields, farmland and woodland. The charming market town of Chalais is only a 5 minute drive, where you can stock up with groceries from the Monday market or by using the local supermarkets. There are many beautiful villages, river beaches and attractions nearby and a quaint Boulangerie within walking distance. The wonderful villages of Aubeterre sur Dronne and St Aulaye ares close by. Aubeterre is officially listed as one of “The most beautiful villages in France” since 1993 and boasts an exceptional cultural heritage, with its beautiful natural surroundings and the famous French “art de vivre” makes it a perfect place to enjoy. St Aulaye has a fantastic river location, something for everyone, whether you fancy a swim in the lake / river, kayaking, tennis, adventure playgrounds or miniature golf, it has plenty to offer for all ages or you can simply have a glass of wine or a coffee and watch the world go by. The lovely cities of Bordeaux, Cognac, Saint Emilion, Angouleme and Perigueux are also within an hours drive away.
There is a feeling of peace and calm at the house which has typical French charm and character. The beautiful pool is heated and the garden invites outside dining and BBQ's.

It boasts a thriving market every Monday and has some superb local restaurants, bars and a breathtaking Chateaux.
