Whitwell Railway Station - Holiday cottages, Whistle Stop sleeps 5 + cot,, Bluebell and Primrose sleep 4 +cot are set in two acres of land and overlooks beautiful views of English hedgerows, rolling hills and Whitwell Village. The Ventnor West line originally opened in 1897 and was said to be 'one of the prettiest branch lines in England' with many local inhabitants lovingly talking of childhood memories of a treasured line. The trains and bustle are long gone, but when sitting on the platform you can almost hear the rattle of a train, and recall the bygone days of steam.

Whistle Stop Cottage sits in its own picket fence grounds. The lounge looks opens onto a patio and garden with a retired railway wagon at the settled at the far end.

The master bedroom is south facing sporting a balcony providing excellent views of the Vineyard and village.

The cottage is of a high standard with 4 Star AA rating.

Large secluded gardens. Spectacular views of surrounding countryside. there is a small Vineyard within the garden. There are lots of wild life to see that visit the garden. We have visitors such as birds of prey, badgers, foxes,rabbits and the occasional red squirrel passing through. Whitwell Station is close to bridle paths and leafy lanes. Within 2 miles from the coast and cliffs of the south Wight downs. We have Short breaks from October to the end of March.
