Centrally located in the Brighton Conservation area visitors land right into the epicentre of Brighton Life. All the main attractions of this vibrant city are within easy walking distance - Pavillion, Seafront, Laines, Station, Commercial Shopping.
FLAT: A wonderful front garden with BIKE Racks takes you down to your OWN FRONT DOOR, then enter into your own little Brighton Haven. The hallway leads to the Kitchen/Lounge/Diner. Dining is in the sunny bay window. Sofa looks onto the Phillips TV and the Kitchen contains everything you would have in your own home (i hope!) - see Guest Access below. Off the end of the hallway is the Bright bathroom with Bath and Shower over and separate sink. Next comes the cooling bedroom. Back of property ensures its quiet and peaceful and from the bedroom double french doors give access to a small outside patio area for relaxing or outdoor dining on hot summer nights.
Have tried to think of all eventualities and what might be needed for visitors but really would welcome feedback on tips or anything not supplied - thank you.
Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Fridge (with Freezer compartment), Hoover, Ironing Board/Iron, Toaster, Kettle, Oven and Hob, Blender, TV, DVD Player (& small selection of DVDs), Microwave, extensive pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, glasses etc etc. Towels and Bed Lining.
Interaction with Guests
I live a 10 minute walk from the flat and so on hand to help if any issues arise or information needed. I leave a visitors handbook with instructions for using anything in the flat and if this fails there are instruction manuals for all the white goods.
Out the front door and straight down the road opposite leads you to Western Road, the main High St Shopping area and Churchill Shopping Complex. Here you will also find supermarkets (Marks & Spencer/Waitrose) and lots of coffeehouses. Continue down and you are at the seafront (approx 10 minute walk from flat). Out the flat to the LEFT and weave through the roads and down to the famous North Laines with their extensive range of Independent Shops and boutiques. Out the Flat to the RIGHT takes you down to the Hove end of town and more great restaurants, pubs and sightseeing. This flat really is central for anything happening in Brighton and Hove and all can be done on foot.
There are over a dozen bus routes available from the Western Road and Clocktower area to all parts of the city.
Please note sadly there is NO PARKING available with this property as the flat is so central and newly converted so the local council won't allow parking (grrr!) . I can on occasion offer up Day Car Parking Vouchers but this would be to park in Area Zone in the zone next to the flat, in the Zone i live in. If you wanted to use these passes, they are limited and cost £3 each.
Train station is a ten minute walk. Trains go regularly to London and gatwick Airport - please check local travel sites for more details.
