The French House, in the heart of the village, is a short walk from the beach, cliff paths, pub and village shop and post office. This spacious semi-detached house provides the perfect ambience for relaxation, with a large sun-room, enclosed gardens with a large lawn to the front and sub-tropical planting to the rear. The property was refurbished in 2011 and now offers all the modern conveniences of home. The Cornwall region

Porthcurno is a small village in the parish of St. Levan located in a valley on the south coast of the county of Cornwall, England in the United Kingdom. It is approximately 9 miles to the west of the market town of Penzance and about 3 miles from Land's End, the most westerly point of the English mainland.

There is a Beach Cafe, Pub and Tennis courts. The Valley road ends at St. Levan's Church about half a mile further on from the village.

The village is also accessible on foot by the South West Coast Path, being about two hours walk from Land's End or about four hours walk from Penzance for experienced cliff walkers. There is a bus service linking Porthcurno with Penzance, Lands End and nearby villages and hamlets. Including Newlyn, Paul, Sheffield, Lamorna, St Buryan, Treen, Trethewey, Polgigga and Sennen.
