La Petite Maison has been renovated to a high standard and fully equipped for your comfort. All on one level, this delightful little cottage comprises of Lounge with Double Sofa Bed/Kitchen/Diner, double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The cottage has its own private outdoor patio area with table, chairs, and BBQ. Also central to both gites is a gazebo with patio chairs and table. A large above ground swimming pool is shared by the owners and guests as well as a small children's pool.

Juillé is a quaint, tranquil little village of traditional stone houses, the surrounding area being predominantly flat is ideal for the walking or cycling enthusiast . There are several Golf courses within the Charente area. For the keen fisherman, the river and local lakes provide plenty of scope. The market town of Mansle is only 5 miles away, with shops, restaurants and bars. Take a visit to the market on Tuesdays and Fridays where you can purchase an wide variety of local produce. The larger town of Ruffec is within 10 miles drive, here you will find all the facilities a large town has to offer. Visit the Aire de Rejallant , where you can pass the time picnicking , swimming and canoeing or just relaxing by the river. Angouleme is the capital of the Charente, with its many festivals, events and attractions for the visitor to enjoy. A day in Angouleme could encompass the culture of the Cathedral of St. Pierre, a walk on the ramparts of the old fortified city, a visit to the museum devoted to the art of the comic strip and caricature and we haven't touched on the river trips, markets, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. All this is only a 20 minute drive away. Cognac, one of France's most popular tourist destinations, this city is exciting all year round. It has an excellent cultural programme. The alleys are lined with many examples of traditional architecture. Wander along the quays and the pedestrian area by the market. Take a guided tour at one of the distilleries and sample the world famous Cognac drink. Don't overlook the regions other famous tipple Pineau des Charentes which is also a must. A trip to the coastal town of La Rochelle will take no more than 2 hours driving. Sample the delicious seafood dishes provided by the many restaurants down by the harbour. Mansle

Juillé is a quaint, tranquil little village of traditional stone houses, surrounded by open countryside. The fields are awash with different colours depending on the season. A field of sunflowers is a delight to behold. In the centre of the village you will find a recreation area which is open to all and includes facilities such as a boulle pitch, children's play area, picnic tables and a football patch.. During the month of May the village hold their annual Brocante (Flea Market). There is an array of stalls selling bric-a-brac, local crafts and produce, hot food and the obligatory wines and beers for your enjoyment. The surrounding area being predominantly flat is ideal for the walking or cycling enthusiast . There are several Golf Courses within the Charente area.
