Millendreath Holiday Village is situated in a small wooded valley, 2 miles from Looe and 18 miles from Plymouth. An ideal base for exploring the local area.

5 minutes walk to small sandy beach which has rock pools when the tide is out. The Black Rock Cafe on the beach front serves traditional breakfasts, delicious cream teas and a choice of early evening supper dishes. It has indoor and outdoor seating and is licenced. Other beach facilities include Black Rock Beach Club where you can hire paddleboards, kayaks, bodyboards and wetsuits - tuition is available. There are toilets/changing rooms and a beach shower for public use.
There are many lovely walks in the area. The South West Coast Path is 5 minutes from the property. Please see their website for details.
Unfortunately this property is not suitable for those with mobility problems as it is on the third level up the hillside and access is up approx 60 steps.
Please note - Millendreath Valley is subject to an ongoing process of rejuvenation. Building work may be taking place on the site during 2014/15.

The county of Cornwall is well known for beautiful countryside and wonderful beaches. There are many towns and villages worth a visit and numerous activities and places to explore.
The north coast is rugged with rocky coastlines but still has many beaches and is ideal for surfing.
The south coast is less rugged and has many attractive fishing villages.
The Barbican area is a 5 minute drive away. This has a pub and some small shops including a bakers and convenience store/post office with long opening hours.
The main town of Looe is a further 5 minutes drive. Here you will find many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is a main Post Office, a couple of banks and a small supermarket which is open seven days a week. Boat trips and fishing trips are available from Looe harbour. You can catch a train to many places in Cornwall from Looe railway station. Bus services are also available from here. Looe Music Fesival is due to be held in September 2014.
