Glass paned doors lead through to the spacious, light filled kitchen with solid oak cupboards, dining table and chairs, fully integrated appliances including washing machine and dishwasher, high quality cooking equipment and an overhead airer. Further glass doors lead from the kitchen to the conservatory and a glass back door to the small terrace area. A staircase leads from the sitting room to the tranquil upstairs bedroom with its original beamed and coombed celing, view of the hills, king size bed, luxury bedding and dual control electric blanket. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom with bath and overhead thermostatic shower.
There is a regular bus service to the centre of Edinburgh and a bus service to Lanark which stops directly beside the train station for Glasgow. By car, Biggar is also convenient for the M74, the Scottish Borders and the beaches of the east coast. The town is also a great base for walkers and for a huge range of activities and visitor attractions.
