Le Parc aux Paquerettes (Daisy Park) is a beautiful country house set in 3 acres of private gardens and woodland close to the stunning hill villages of Callian and Fayence in the Var. The grounds are completely flat and offer a wonderful playground for children and adults alike. There is a wide variety of different trees including oak, pear, conifers and pines. The house was built right in the middle of a large plot to ensure it remains in the summer and warm in the winter. The property was comprehensively refurbished in 2010 using top quality fittings, including the installation of a new kitchen, new bathrooms and full re-decoration. The main living area is open plan with the hallway, kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room and lounge all inter-connected. The eclectic mix of furniture was mostly sourced from local antique shops. The Var is situated just outside of Cannes and is easily accessible to all the popular coastal resorts of the French Riviera. There is plenty to do and lots to see, with an abundance of historical sites, beautiful gardens and of course those lovely sandy beaches. Watersports are available across the coast. Being near to Lac de St Cassien this property has the added bonus for more gentle water pursuits such as fishing, canoeing, rowing or pedaloes.
Fayence is a well known medieval village, perched high and with some beautiful views. The area of Fayence has excellent shopping, supermarkets are within 5 minutes by car, although the village itself does have the usual shopping amenities. The property is around 15 minutes from the autoroute exit and access to all the tourist attractions are within easy reach. There is plenty to do in the area as it is near to the Lac de St Cassien where you can walk, fish, swim or take out a pedalo. Golf at the Terre Blanche Course is just 10 minutes or further afield at St Endreol although there are plenty of choices for the budding golfers.
