Quality comfortable furniture ensures a relaxed atmosphere in this charming retreat. Just relax in the warmth with some music or a DVD on the flat screen television.

The kitchen at the rear is well equipped with gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge and a wealth of pots pans and numerous other utensils. Other niceties include slow cooker and filter coffee maker.

The main bedroom oozes snugness. A solid oak bed takes centre stage, with the deep pocket sprung mattress, ensuring a restful nights sleep. The apparent lack of storage is certainly compensated by the uncluttered quality and embraces the original features. The floor still boasts original boards and is certainly not spirit level flat and the gnarled aged beam embraces the room adding charm and character.

The East Anglia region

North Norfolk is unique. Catering for beach and water lovers it appeals greatly to all generations.

The northern coast is famed for its rich wildlife. In particular this area is very important for migrating birds. Birdwatchers travel from far and wide to study and observe the huge diverse sea bird population.

The light over land and sea creates constantly changing, stunning panoramas and has been a favourite of many of the most famous water colour artists.

Sheringham has a small population but tourism is growing. As well as the sea and sand there are many other ways to entertain. Locally there are museums, shops and a market. The RNLI boat house is worth investigating and the crews will always be grateful of your support.

During the year numerous festivals have become very popular especially the Potty Festival of folk dance. The steam railway is a major attraction with visiting trains from all over the country.

The famous Sheringham Shantymen singers can often be found entertaining at one of the great local pubs.

Other attractions would include the local theatre, Sheringham Park , especially beautiful when the rhododendrons are in bloom, and numerous stately homes.
