The mobile home is well equipped for 7 people. There are two bedrooms, one with a full size double bed, the other with bunk beds and a single bed (ideal for children) plus there is a pull out double bed in the lounge area. In the kitchen you will find a fridge freezer, kettle, hob, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. There is a TV to be used for DVD's. Outside is a good sized decking overlooking the enclosed garden and woodland.

The campsite has a shower block with private powerful showers, separate WC, large sink and a washing machine. There is a flock of sheep whose job is to keep the grass under control plus chickens in a run and a shetland poney.

The mobile home, located on a quiet* secure campsite situated in the heart of rural Brittany, 2 mins walk from the shores of the Lac de Guerledan via a private path. The village of Beau Rivage, with a variety of attractions, is a very short drive or a 10 minute walk via the lake side path.

There are many activities to be found locally including lake swimming, hiking, fishing, cycling, kayaks, motorboats, pedaloes, and even a 90 minute lake cruise. Beau Rivage, Caurel and Mur de Bretagne have restaurants offering a variety of local cuisine.

An ideal base from which to explore Brittany which has a rich and diverse heritage waiting to be discovered. You have the prehistoric stones of Carnac, the submarine pens of St Nazaire, the wonderful rugged pink granite coast of the north to the foam crested waves and endless sandy beaches of the south.

The Brittany region

The area has many activities available locally including water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaks ,canoeing ,fishing, swimming, jet skiing, cycling, walking, horse riding and quad biking.

Nearest beaches are at Lac de Guerledan (less than 2 minutes drive). Pretty sandy beaches in the most glorious setting. The lake offers a range of water activities including: pedalos, kayaks, canoeing, self drive motor boats which you can hire from the restaurants by the beach. The lake offers open fishing via a license, day or weekly licenses available from the local town of Mur de Bretagne (monster-sized fish in the lake).

There are all types of restaurants available in the locality including family restaurants, crêperies, auberge, seafood plus others.

The small charming town of Mur de Bretagne is a 5 minute drive where there is a medium size supermarket, shops, restaurants, markets, banks, post office and churches.

The Brittany region


There is access to miles of forest trails with spectacular views through trees over the lake from a high vantage point - the trails are colour coded with display map board so you can choose your distance - the lake area is superb for walkers and those who love wildlife in peaceful serenity.

Evening dinner cruises on available on large glass sided boats in summer months and bookable at one of the restaurants in Beau Rivage. Lac de Guerledan forms part of the amazing Nantes-Brest canal system which stretches 360k across Brittany and offers a unique haven for wildlife (otters, kingfishers etc). The lake itself is 8 miles long and winds through a forested valley, deep at its western end with rocky escarpments and more rural to the east. where the pretty town of Mur de Bretagne is situated. At the western end the historic Bon Repos Abbey is situated with its Sunday market and famous medieval re-enactments. The area is both peaceful, breathtakingly beautiful and ideal as a base to explore Brittany. The large riverside town of pontivy is 15-20 minutes drive with an extensive array of shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
