Penzance

Situated 10 miles from Lands End and on the shores of Mount’s Bay, Penzance is an area surrounded natural beauty and full of Celtic culture. Golden sandy beaches, clear warm sea, secret coves and rocky cliffs surround the area and this stunning landscape has proved to be the source of inspiration for many poets and artists.

Elegantly positioned above and behind Penzance, Madron has stunning views of Mounts Bay. To the North, on the West Cornwall Moors, are several notable ancient sites. These include Lanyon Quiot, Boswens Standing Stone and Men-an-Tol. Madron also possesses the mother church of Penzance and the famous holy well of St Madron, where it is claimed many miraculous cures took place.
