What our clients say:
The villa was magnificent. We adored the garden and the scenery. Nicole and Nicos were very friendly and helpful.
Our kids had a great time swimming and playing around.
We loved the cool nights with a thousand stars above.
So it was perfect, and we were told that next year Nicole and Nicos plan to add WIFI so this gets even better.
Also, we had an extraordinary experience of wine tasting at Makkas in the village with Andreas. We came by without coordinating. He invited us in, and explained about every wine, and we tasted them all. We spend almost two hours there and had a wonderful conversation. He is a special and generous man, so friendly and welcoming. We recommend a visit to everyone who's into local wines.
Also, Anfi, at Pericles, was so nice. We went there once for lunch and asked her about some dishes we wanted to try. She actually suggested to prepare them for us and we returned to eat there again, this time being served with our special requests!
The village taverna was also a nice surprise.
So... we had a wonderful time and would gladly return next year.
Thanks for very meticulous arrangements and instructions.
Well where do I start!!
Villa Ampelitis was outstanding. The owners Nikos and Nicole had thought of everything possible from the kitchen to children's toys, and even took the time to explain how everything worked when we arrived. I can honestly say Irene that Ampelitis Inn was by far the best villa I have ever stayed in, it was stunning!
As you were aware Lucy and I got married out there and I wanted to organise a few surprises for Lucy when we arrived at Ampelitis, which Nicole happily organised from start to finish, which I couldn't thank her enough for, she was fantastic. Nicole stayed in constant contact via email and beyond my expectations to ensure everything was perfect.
In short it was the best holiday we ever had and we plan to go back this summer if finances allows us. I will always use Sundance Villas and Nicole I will always be indebted to, as she made the finishing touches to my wedding perfect.
Once again from the bottom of my heart thank you for all the help I received from Nicole and Sundance Villas for making our wedding perfect.
Gareth and Lucy. Repeat clients. Easter 2012
Ampelitis = Perfection. The best villa: well equipped, comfy and very well cared for!
Thank you Nikos and Nicole. We've had a superb time in your lovely home and would love to come here again. Tips: village taverna: very good and very welcoming. Good value. Periklis-excellent food-well worth a visit. Kalamos winery: excellent wine tasting experience, good wines and prices. Local butcher has superb quality meat, speaks no english. For an excellent take away, Acropolis in Geroskipou, Afelia to die for. Varma and Shirley.
We can say, hand on heart, that the villa measured up fully to our hopes and expectations. Everything that was needed was there and the property was spotless.
We were very lucky with hot weather for November, most days being around 25c but with a cooling breeze to be found at some point around the property. It was nice to have the peace and quiet, especially as it was our first holiday abroad since Pegs accident.
Nicole and Nicos were friendly and always helpful and their assistance in obtaining the powered chair and hire car were much appreciated.
We would recommend the holiday for a person with disabilities, providing they had their own transport available, as the property is some way inland from coastal resorts and towns. There is ample space for a family and the indoor pool is a big plus for anyone with children to be kept amused.
We love Cyprus and the fact that they also drive on the left is a big plus factor! We will have no hesitation in booking with Sundance Villas again, as will Julie, my wife's carer, who has also had previous enjoyable holidays with Sundance Villas.

Paphos, once the capital of Cyprus, is on the south western edge of the island, and well placed for excursions to all the main sights. It's quieter than the southern resorts of Larnaca and Limassol, but still offers plenty for sun-seekers, families, cultural types and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
History and culture are two of the island's big selling points, and you don't have to venture far to find them in Paphos, where the whole town is UNESCO listed. The island's most visited site is the Tomb of the Kings, a stone's throw from the city centre, dating back to 4 BC. High dignitaries and officials, rather than kings, were buried here, but the underground houses for the dead, with their imposing entrance columns and wells, are worthy of their royal tag.
Close to Paphos harbour is the house of Dionysos, a villa containing some of the best preserved mosaics in the Mediterranean region. Mainly depicting scenes from Greek mythology, they were accidentally discovered by a farmer ploughing his field. It's worth recommending that clients go on a guided tour to bring the mosaics to life.
A 'must see' site outside the town is the ancient city kingdom of Kourion, on the inland road between Limassol and Paphos. Arguably the island's most spectacular archaeological treasure, it is dominated by a magnificent Greco-Roman theatre.
Back on dry land, the stunning stretch of coast between Paphos and Limassol is where visitors can take the classic shot of Aphrodite's Rock, said to mark the spot where the goddess emerged from the sea.
The Baths of Aphrodite, where she relaxed after entertaining her lovers, can be found on the Akamas peninsular further west. Anyone who bathes there will supposedly be blessed with eternal youth, but it's strictly forbidden to jump in to find out if the legend has any truth in it.
Paphos is at its liveliest at night, when the bars, restaurants and clubs bring together tourists and locals of all ages. The heart of the nightlife scene is Agiou Antoniou, aka Bar Street. Popular haunts include Woodyz Music Bar, the late-night Hollywood Music Bar, the Keg and Barrel sports bar and the retro Starsky and Hutch Disco Bar.
Strike out in any direction from Paphos and, within a few miles, you'll find long stretches of sandy beaches, rugged hills and rolling countryside. This varied terrain lends itself to a variety of outdoor activities, although to avoid working up a real sweat, it's best to avoid the hottest months of July and August.
Some of the most popular hiking trails can be found in the Troodos Mountains, an hour's drive from Paphos, including several easy marked paths and circular routes. The Troodos also provide some of the most spectacular scenery for cyclists, but you need plenty of gears and energy to get up the long hills. For a less tiring option, mountain bikes can be hired at visitor centres.
People are often surprised to discover they can ski in Cyprus. The Troodos slopes are normally open from the beginning of January to the end of March, and it's a novel experience to ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon. Cyprus is also gaining popularity as a golfing destination. Tsada, the island's first course, is 15 minutes from Paphos, and Secret Valley is 25 minutes from the town.
Cyprus is one of the world's oldest wine-producing countries with a winemaking history dating back to at least 2,000 BC. The vine-growing co-operative SODAP has a base in nearby Stroumpi, offering morning tours and tastings. Wine lovers who want to venture further afield can visit wineries in picturesque villages around Paphos, including Salamiou, Pretori and the monastery winery at Panagia Chrysorrogiatissa.
There are 2 award winning wineries in this village, and we highly recommend tasting, which we can arrange.
Illa Ampelitis is privately located with stunning 360' views in Ampelitis Village (Statos-Agios Fotios) amongst the vines on the beautiful Wine Route of Vouni-Panagia. Ampelitis is a hillside village where you can still enjoy and sample the traditional Cypriot way of life, yet be within easy striking distance of Paphos and its beaches. Everything needed in daily life can be found locally as Ampelitis village has a small supermarket, internet cafe & coffee-shop, 2 x butchers, 2 restaurants (one sells local produce) and the award winning local Kolios winery with restaurant overlooking the vineyards. A fishmonger visits the village twice weekly with his refrigerated van, and we can arrange for him to call with no obligation to buy.
Village: 100m, Minimarket & Internet Cafe: 150m, Beach/sea: 28km, Timi near the airport, Bar/Cafe on beach: 28km, Village restaurant: 150m, Restaurant: 1km, Water Park: 35km, Mini Golf: 30km, Paphos/Kato Paphos: 30km, Polis: 40km, Kykko monastery: 41km, Troodos: 69km
