Lakeview Lodge 1 is a striking countryside lodge located in the grounds of Lakeview Manor. It's the perfect rural retreat.

The lodge is bright and airy with a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area looking out over a lake and beautiful countryside. The well equipped kitchen provides a sociable cooking experience, great for chatting with guests or watching the children in the living area. The two contemporary bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming – the perfect place to crash out after an evening enjoying the lodge's private hot tub or the onsite bar and restaurant.

With two lakes within the park grounds for a spot of fishing or sunbathing, you might choose to hide from the world completely, but if you do manage to tear yourself away from the relaxed seclusion of Lakeview Lodge, you'll be spoilt for choice. Lyme Regis and the beaches of Dorset, as well as the Devonshire coastline, are within easy reach. For a bit of variety, head inland to Hemyock Castle or Forde Abbey Gardens. Or treat the children to a day out at the nearby donkey sanctuary or Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium.

For those looking to escape the kitchen on their break away, the Restaurant at Lakeview Manor is open daily. Lunches are served from 12pm-2pm and dinner is served from 6.30pm-9.00pm. Enjoy fresh, local produce overlooking the front garden and lake, or simply have a chilled glass of wine on the lawn.

Please note, whilst Wi-Fi internet access is available in the bar and restaurant it is not available in the lodge.

Honiton

With picturesque scenery, a varied history and events throughout the year Honiton is one of Devon's liveliest market towns. The town was once famous for making beautiful lace and has gained itself a reputation for being the South West antiques capital in recent years, so our Honiton luxury lodges are always popular with visitors who love to enjoy their surroundings and potter around historic streets lined with Georgian buildings and former coaching inns. There's a market three times every week, so there's no excuse not to sample some of the local produce during a stay, and if nothing else they're a great way to experience real Devon life and a friendly atmosphere.

Honiton market is held on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Thursdays
