The Farmhouse is Set in stunning countryside with picturesque views and fantastic walks from the doorstep. It has its own secure garden.

Parking for maximum 5 cars. Any additional cars can be parked at the top of the lane . Please note garage is not included within the property

We welcome 2 well behaved pets. Sorry there is no smoking within the property although smoking outside in the garden area is permitted .

As you can appreciate the heating will not be on constant, we like to keep your holiday price down and try to suit the heating times to how we feel guests will require it. We do however provide what we feel is a very sufficient amount of heating. If you feel you wish to have further heat there is a multi fuel stove that you can bring some logs or coal so to have a lovely cosy fire going. Thank you

The Heart of England/Peak District

The Peak District is well documented as one of the UK's best destinations for walkers. With Hathersage , Edale and Castleton all within a short drive away, you will easy fill your walking days. There are many walks directly from the doorstep of Barn including the spectactular Dam Flask reservoir and the picturesque village of Low and High Bradfield.

The small hamlet of Storrs is idyllically situated between the Rivelin Valley and Bradfield Dale, on the edge of the picturesque Peak District National Park. Nearly 700 lime trees line the Rivelin Valley, making it the second longest lime tree avenue in Britain! This peaceful hamlet holds a scattering of farms and dwellings together with many bridleways and footpaths to discover. Nearby, the impressive Damflask, Agden, Dale Dike and Ladybower dams make for an interesting afternoon's ramble, while the attractive village of Hathersage is also within easy reach, thought to be the inspiration for Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and home to a selection of shops, pubs and inviting eateries. With the striking village of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, close by, and the lively city of Sheffield within a short drive, this is an ideal location for an enjoyable holiday at any time of year.
