Two bedroom, double upper apartment with roof terrace overlooking golf courses and bowling green in the scenic village of Gullane, East Lothian.

This location is ideal for golfers, bird watchers and walkers. There are many golf courses within a short walk – Gullane 1, 2 and 3; Luffness; Muirfield and Kilspindie, Longniddry and several courses in North Berwick a short drive away.

There are several stunning beaches and plenty of attractions for families in the local area, including Aberlady Nature Reserve, the Scottish Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle and East Links Family Park.

A bus service runs regularly to Edinburgh and North Berwick, with trains from nearby Drem and Longniddry.

Gullane offers a variety of local restuarants; grocery, gift, sports and craft shops; several delicatessen and with facilities - gym, bowling green, library, community centre and Post Office. Gullane Bents with its miles of unspoilt beaches and dunes is close by. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk from all of these facilities. Local free parking is nearby.

The apartment is on the main street in Gullane above the Post Office, yet offers a quiet secluded retreat with stunning views over the bowling green to the golf courses and Lammermuir Hills from the roof terrace which is decked and complete with outdoor furniture for guests to enjoy.

The apartment sleeps 4 - 5 in two twin / double rooms. The second double room is a single with pull out bed, but there is a double sofa bed in the lounge if preferred. The apartment is on the first floor of a two apartment block, with the bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. The roof terrace is reached from the second floor by a second flight of stairs. Thus the apartment is not suitable for very young children.

All cleaning service charges, linen and towels and wifi access are included in the rates quoted.

A refundable security deposit of £100 per week is payable in advance and returned within 48 hours of departure, less utility charges and if there is no damage or breakages.

Utility bills are by meter and approximately £20 per week in the summer - this is chargeable over the rental rate and deducted from the security deposit after departure.

A selection of books, games, DVD's, videos and CD's are available for guests.

Please note that there are no facilities for children under eight due to stairs. Access is on the first floor but there are also internal stairs.

We regret we are not suitable for guests who smoke or with pets. Small dogs MAY be accommodated upon request.

Cancellations

The cancellation policy of Holiday lettings applies, if booked on line through them

Cancellations should be advised as soon as possible. The booking deposit is non refundable, and every effort will be made to relet the property. If the balance has been paid, this will also be subject to cancellation charges as below.

Guests cancelling up to 28 days before arrival will receive a refund of 50% of the balance payment.

Guests cancelling up to 14 days before arrival will receive a refund of 25% of the balance payment.

If cancellation is within 14 days of arrival, apologies, but no refund applies.

In case of a split payment, the booking deposit is always non refundable.

We advise that you take out travel insurance in case you should unavoidably need to cancel your booking with us, as our cancellation policy is non negotiable.

Check out on departure is 10am please and check in by 4pm. Arrangements are in place for self check in if a late arrival is expected.

The scenic village of Gullane, is surrounded by excellent championship golf courses including 3 courses at Gullane Golf Club, Muirfield, North Berwick, Kilspindie, Luffness, and Archerfield . The Village has a lively High Street with delicatessens, hairdressers, beauty salon, butcher, greengrocer, lovely gift shops, 2 general stores, chemist, 2 golf shops, 2 interior design shops, Dentist and Doctors surgery all within walking distance.

Gullane lies only 4 miles from the town of North Berwick . The charming villages of Aberlady and Drem are only 5 miles away. Gullane is less than 20 miles from Edinburgh, Scotland 's beautiful capital city.

There are several lovely restaurants and local pubs and cafes to dine in, all within Gullane Village.
