The working fishing harbour at Newlyn is less than 15 minutes drive as are other picturesque harbours such as the neighbouring Mousehole with its quaint streets and good eating places.
St Ives, famous for its artists community and the Tate Modern Gallery, glorious beaches, surfing and interesting shops selling local crafts and art works is within a scenic 30 minute coast drive.
St Michael's Mount is also just a short drive away.
