Visit the magical Lizard Peninsula and stay in Trythance House in any season and discover a secret back water in the most southerly point of the British mainland.
The Lizard Peninsula which is renowned for its beauty and spectacular cliff top walks is largely influenced by the Gulf Stream and generally enjoys mild, frost-free winters.
The house is centrally placed in St Keverne with two pubs and the village shop in the square and an excellent restaurant The Greenhouse within a short distance.
An ideal location for walkers and divers being close to the South West Coastal Path, the Manacles and the Helford River.
Trip Advisor Review of Trythance House
We were lucky enough to spend a week here self catering rather than B&B and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trythance House and were pleasantly surprised at the fact that you had thought of everything that would be needed for a really comfortable holiday.
The house is spacious with comfortable, beds and tasteful furnishings. I could see that a lot of thought had been given to making this accommodation attractive, homely and perfect for a delightful holiday. We were able to drive to some lovely parts of the Cornish coast and also took a couple of walks to a nearby cove and woodlands.
We enjoyed a meal at the pub in the square and fish and chips at nearby Coverack. We also visited Roskilly's Farm shop close by, for ice creams and fudge. We used the butcher in the square and the local shop for our groceries.
Ian, my partner's, mum came with us and she also thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. She stayed in the comfortable master bedroom with the en suite and my children enjoyed a large room each to themselves which they were delighted with! We stayed in the other large and comfortable bedroom. All in all we had a perfectly memorable and enjoyable holiday thanks to you Janet and Barry. It really was lovely!
The only disappointment was not being able to stay another week because the children are back to school. Never mind, I'm sure there will be other opportunities,
