The Corn Barn at East Trenean Farm
Tucked away on the south coast of Cornwall, within an area of outstanding natural beauty, just 3 miles from the nearest beaches and town. Quiet and tranquil and a haven for wildlife. This beautifully converted barn retains many original features which are complemented by the high quality modern furnishings and equipment provided for your comfortable holiday here at East Trenean Farm.
The Corn Barn has 4 spacious bedrooms, all with zip-link beds providing super-king sized doubles or twin beds in each room. Just let us know your preference before you arrive.
The modern kitchen is well equipped with a large range cooker, american style fridge-freezer and all the usual appliances including a dishwasher. It also has a breakfast bar and is there is also a sofa for people to sit and chat while you are cooking!
The utility room houses the modern boiler, sink, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Leading off the utility room is a separate toilet.
There is a large lounge and dining area with comfortable seating for 8 people and a wood burning stove for a cosy evening in.
New for 2015: relax in the 8 person hot-tub, situated in the farmhouse grounds, with views across rolling countryside and a distant glimpse of the sea. The hot-tub is shared by the 4 barns on-site, but we operate a simple daily booking system so you can choose your own time slot.
The Corn Barn sleeps a maximum of 8 persons. If you have a larger group, why not consider booking two (or more) barns here at East Trenean Farm. Our 4 barns sleep 8, 6, 4 and 2 persons, giving a wide range of possibilities.
We welcome families and groups looking for a relaxed and enjoyable time together. We do not welcome groups of young adults looking for a party venue.
Unless specially agreed in advance, arrival time is from 4.00 p.m. onward and departure is by 10.00 a.m.

For walkers, there are the more arduous walking conditions found in Bodmin Moor and on Dartmoor. There are wonderful walks along the South West Coastal Path with it's breathtaking views and a whole string of beaches and coves to explore.
For gardeners, there are many wonderful gardens to visit.
For families, there is a legendary range of activities available from sunny beaches and water sports to go-karting and water parks for fun filled days out.
East Trenean Farm is in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) among beautiful rolling countryside but just 3 miles from the coast at Looe.
We are within easy reach of many of the excellent beaches on the south coast.
The south west coastal path is close by and a must for walkers.
Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are also within easy reach for the more adventurous walkers.
Watersports are available at many of the beaches and fishing is popular from Looe.
In addition to the excellent beach and fishing, Looe benefits from an broad range of shops, taverns, restaurants, and galleries catering to all budgets.
The thriving University city of Plymouth is 30 minutes away with its lively nightlife on the Barbican, great shopping at the new Drake Circus centre, world famous Aquarium, views over the Sound from the Hoe, numerous marinas and boat yards.
In the opposite direction, Fowey, St Austell, Bodmin, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens Gardens of Heligan are all within easy reach.
The National Trust look after miles of near-by coast and countryside from Whitsand to Polperro and have their own car parks to strike out from.
