PROVENCE is great all over the year..
Be it at end of january (mimosas spring already into blossom!),in February (nice ski resorts within a 2 hour drive from Aix)
in March...and of course in June (lvander blossoming all over Upper Provence)..or in september, when temperatures cool down and most summer families are back to school...
The real cold season generally extends from mid november to mid march...
Aix en Provence is a 100 000 soul old city, dating back to Roman times...
The old historic district wasbuilt in 16th,17th and 18th century
It is a pleasant city to discover on foot:most of the old center was turned pedestrian..and you can easily spend 2 weeks in Aix without even touching a wheel drive..
For automobile fanatics,it is an easy place to park nevetheless.(provided you accept to pay a little!)
The city invested in a dozen of underground car parks..out of which 3 are in the vinity of our building
*Parking des Cardeurs (less than 50 meters from our dorrstep)
*Parking des thermes (300 meters)
*Parking Pasteur (500 meters..probably the easiest to find..and the one with the largest capacity)
