The Lisbon Packet is a bright, airy one-bedroomed flat, a five-minute walk from the centre of Brixham and only ten minutes from the harbour. Ideally situated for a short break or a longer stay, it has a dedicated parking-space and a secure entry system. A balcony leading off the living-room catches the evening sun, and there is also a terrace leading to well-maintained communal gardens.
The flat is thoughtfully furnished with a mix of modern and quirky individual pieces chosen to reflect the owners' love of travel, history and good food. It has wood-laminate flooring in every room.
The up-to-date well-equipped kitchen has a good selection of cookery books to help you make the most of the wide range of fresh fish and other produce that Brixham has to offer. We are also very proud to have no TV, so this truly is the right place to get away from it all for a walking or fishing holiday, a good-food break or a reading retreat.
The Lisbon Packet is a no-smoking property. It has one double bedroom plus a sofa-bed in the living-room, so it is suitable for two to three people, but no children under the age of sixteen. The all-electric kitchen is equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer and washing-machine. In the newly-fitted bathroom you will find a walk-in shower and a toilet with integral bidet.
We provide Wi-Fi internet access.
The flat will be professionally cleaned in readiness for your stay, and all bedding and towels are provided.
In addition to dedicated parking, the bus stop directly outside the property gives access to an excellent public transport system, with buses and trains (from Paignton) giving access to Torbay and the entire south-west.
The South-West Coastal Path can be reached in a few minutes and there are a number of National Trust properties nearby, the closest being Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie. Local walking guides and maps, books about the local area and a copy of the current National Trust handbook are all provided to help you make the most of this beautiful part of the world. Real ale fans will find the latest copy of the Good Beer Guide to hand. The Queens Arms, recent winner of the Devon Pub of the Year is only a short walk away.
All of this, plus beautiful Brixham harbour and Brixham's ever-increasing range of high-quality restaurants.
