Sliding patio doors from living room and master bedroom lead directly onto the large, tiled terrace which is substantially shaded by the first floor balcony above. There is a decked area for sitting out in the sun and this adjoins an attractively planted private garden. There are sun loungers and a patio table and chair set for outdoor dining.
For additional security, there are lockable gates between the terrace and patio doors and secondary locks on the patio doors themselves.
Bed linen is provided to suit seasonal requirements.
Guests need to bring their own pool/beach towels.

Alternatively, a day trip west to Gibraltar offers many sightseeing opportunities, including the Castle, Nature Reserve and the old walled town itself.
With over 60 courses, the Costa del Sol provides golfers with plenty of choice and challenges, making the region a favourite destination for golfing holidays.
As a result of the excellent climate, the Costa del Sol is a superb all-year-round destination.
Marbella can be reached by a short car or bus journey; there is a bus stop at the entrance to La Reserva.
Owing its Moorish influence to the close proximity of North Africa, the old town of Marbella makes a fascinating local destination. There is also a good selection of upmarket shops and a wide variety of bars and restaurants.
For recommended family days out there is the Aqua Park at nearby Fuengirola, the Selwo Safari Park at Estepona or the Selwo Dolphinarium at Benalmadena.
A delightful promenade walk extends from Marbella along the famous Golden Mile to the fashionable port of Puerto Banus.
At La Reserva itself, there is a brilliant Chinese restaurant - The Hong Kong - near the entrance to the development & about 1 km from this apartment.
Andy's Mini-Market, only a 2 minute walk from the apartment, is very well-stocked. The adjacent Andy's Bar/Restaurant is now open (March -October), serving generous portions of excellent food at very reasonable prices - if you have room for a pudding, try the chef's home-made "flan" (a very special creme caramel). Both indoor and outdoor seating is provided and children are welcome. Highly recommended.
Also within walking distance, on the La Reserva side of the A7, are The Jaiphur Palace (Indian) and Da Bruno (Italian) restaurants. Across the Las Chapas footbridge at El Meson del Pueblo (The Village Inn) - where there are flamenco evenings on Tuesdays and Saturdays in high season - the barbecue is unmissable! The Orange Tree bar has re-opened after refurbishment and is also popular. A 5 minute walk away from the village square is El Cortijo, which offers huge helpings and fantastic value for money.
Nearby Cabopino has an attractive harbour as well as a sandy beach and a varied selection of restaurants and bars, including the locally famous "Albert's". Car parking is available or, if you've walked, there is a taxi rank just outside the harbour area, to take you home or further afield.
For self-catering, there are SuperSol & OpenCor supermarkets at Elviria or Calahonda (both about 3 k. away) and there is a local OpenCor convenience store just outside the La Reserva complex (about 1.5km from the apartment). For more intensive shopping, the out-of-town La Canada complex offers everything, including a cinema.
