With a variety of tourist attractions on your doorstep you can choose to do as little or as much as you like. Sight seeing in one of the many "Les plus beaux villages de France" (Most beautiful villages in France), experiencing the local gastronomy and regional wines, visiting one of the numerous Chateaux in the "Land of a 1000 Chateaux". Or for the more adventurous take a canoe trip down the nearby Dordogne or Vezere river.
