Villa Ferragudo is a fantastic holiday home and great value for money. It was built in 2011 and is situated in a quiet residential area, just 2.5kms from the Centre of Ferragudo and 3.5kms from the beach. The Centre of Portimão and Portimao Marina are only a few minutes by car.
This villa has 4 bedrooms, each one with a double bed. There are 3 bathrooms (one is en suite), a kitchen with breakfast bar that opens out to the living / dining room, all having patio doors leading out to the large outdoor area.
The pool and its surrounding area (equipped with sun loungers and outdoor furniture) are very spacious. The barbecue is portable which provides flexibility to dine "al fresco"!
There is 1 bedroom on the ground floor with the use of a full bathroom with bathtub; the remaining 3 rooms are situated on the first floor and all have a balcony with views of the pool or overlooking the residential street.

Located across the river estuary of Rio Arade, we can find Ferragudo, a low rise old world charm village overlooking Portimão and the marina. The charming fishing village of Alvor with narrow cobbled streets is also well known in this area. It has two long sandy beaches just a walk away: Praia de Alvor and Praia dos Três Irmãos.
If you head to the head of the hills north of Portimão then you must explore the outstanding Serra de Monchique. Is it the highest mountain range in the south region, with cork and chestnut woods, as well as remote little villages. The pretty spa town of Caldas de Monchique has a gracious its eucalyptus-shaded central square. Moorish architecture can be explored in Silves, and enchanting town that sits on the banks of Arade river and where you can visit an impressive and well preserved castle.
The fantastic town of Lagos is vibrant for all age groups. It has an older part that is still circled by the 16th century walls, historical churches and a modern marina. The upper part of the town displays an amazing view over the Meia Praia Beach and its 4kms of golden sand.
A few kilometres ahead lays the recent developed resort of Luz, and its attractive Praia da Luz beach and lovely promenade.
If you continue to head west, you will reach the untouched village of Sagres, site of Henry the Navigator's naval school. It is still an attractive town with low rise houses and quiet streets. The cost around Sagres is dotted with secluded coves and wild beautiful beaches that are very popular with surfers.
