The bay is a natural harbour with a gentle sloping sandy beach and an abundance of water sports, including canoeing, sailing, diving, water skiing, fishing (local hire), surfboarding and scuba diving. New seating laid along the promenade provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent sea views.
This wonderful bay is further enhanced by its local amenities, cafes, shops, bars, quality restaurants, golf course and leisure centre. There are many other activities to enjoy in the local area including horse riding, walking, birdwatching and go-karting. Two large supermarkets are conveniently located nearby on the retail park.
Holyhead is just 2 miles away with rail links and ferry port. It also offers a wider range of facilities including coffee shops, restaurants, performing and visual arts centre and out of town shopping complex and is the gateway to Ireland.
