The large sitting room is furnished with antique furniture and an enormous sofa which converts to comfy king size bed. There's a TV with internet capability and it enjoys stunning views of leafy Harrison Park and the Pentland Hills. Books and games are provided.
The spacious dining kitchen seats seven and hosts cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, expresso coffee machine, plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. Murrayfield stadium can be seen from the window.
There are two spacious double bedrooms with ample storage and a single room with loft bed. The luxury bathroom with shower has recently been refurbished.

Shandon is an urban village, enviably located beside Harrison park and the canal but with the restaurants, bars, shops and cinemas only five minutes way in Fountainbridge, Gorgie and Bruntsfield. Murraryfield rugby stadium is ten minutes on foot as are Dalry swimming baths and the state of the art Craighlockhart leisure centre and gym. Ten bus routes can be accessed by a five minute walk and these take one direct to attractions such as Edinburgh castle, Holyrood House, the Scottish Parliament and the Royal Yacht Britannia as well as the shopping districts of Princes Street, the Royal Mile and Ocean Terminal

Edinburgh is a vibrant and uniquely beautiful capital city. The breathtaking grandeur of Edinburgh Castle, its rich history and the unique atmosphere aside, the city has myriad sights and experiences for the visitor. The commencement of the much heralded tram system and the opportunity to enjoy the Commonwealth Games in nearby Glasgow make 2014 a particularly exciting year in which to visit Edinburgh.
The flat is situated 3.5km west of Princes Street, and Edinburgh Castle in Shandon. Shandon is an urban village, Much of the area has conservation status because of its highly distinctive 'colony' housing, quaint little streets of Victorian maisonettes with tiny gardens built for artisans by 19th century philanthropists. The area lies alongside the Union Canal, which has been restored in recent years and is now used by narrowboats, rowers and walkers. At the heart of Shandon is a lovely park, Harrison Park, which lies beside the canal and is much enjoyed by local families and visitors alike. The flat sits alongside that park, with a stunning view right to the Pentland Hills to the south of the city. 200 metres away are two convenience stores with late night opening and a friendly local cafe.
Only five minutes away in nearby Fountainbridge are,a number of restaurants, bars, shops and a cinema complex.
