This lovely modern studio, fully renovated in Nov. 2013, is in the heart of Budapest, literally a stone's throw from Liszt Ferenc square, which is teeming with cafes, the Opera, and the best shopping. The city's best `ruin pub' is a bloc away. Metro, tram, bus stops a 1-min walk away.
The studio features a double bed, a pull-out sofa which also accommodates two, a bathroom with a tub and shower possibilities, as well as a fully-equipped kitchenette. Free WIFI, flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, washing machine with dryer, and a microwave are included.
The location is unbeatable, with cafes, restaurants and bars at your doorstep. Whether you'll be at a concert at the Opera, or partying at famous ``ruin pubs'' in the heart of the former Jewish district or shopping on Andrassy avenue, you'll be about 5 minutes' walk from home. And once there, you'll be able to sleep because the building is by a park and the apartment's window overlooks a peaceful courtyard.
Great public transport link, with Oktogon square just a block away. There are trams (4 and 6), buses (105) and underground (M1) all a block away. And most tourist sights are within walking distance.

Budapest is a vibrant city on the move. Whether you're into high culture -- Opera, classical music, or museums -- or you're here to soak up the city's atmosphere in ``ruin'' pubs, cafes and bars, the apartment will place you at the center of the action. There are always screenings, music concerts and parties going on, so there's never a bad time to come. And once here, enjoy the local flavors and the local hospitality.
The apartment is located on Jokai square, right next to Andrassy Avenue, which is Budapest's most high-end boulevard full of great restaurants and luxury shops and right across Liszt Ferenc square, perhaps with the greatest concentration of cafes in the city. The area is a wonderful mix of the upscale and up-and-coming. The Opera is two blocks away as is the Liszt Music Academy, the concert hall where the maestro himself played and directed. In between you'll find bars that artists frequents, a Vietnamese hole-in-the-wall kitchen serving up pho and a trendy fish restaurant, as well as a favorite of mine that pairs progressive Hungarian dishes with great local wines. You won't need a car if you stay here -- most sites are only a few blocks away and for those a bit farther, there are buses, trams and Europe's second-oldest underground one block away.
