A stroll of only two minutes brings you to the shores of Loch Fyne, one of the longest sea lochs in Scotland. Good central area for touring the West Highlands, Loch Lomond and Glencoe areas, Cowal peninsula and Mull of Kintyre.

There is free parking at top of the lane or behind the nearby CommunityHall or on Main Street. There is access for loading and unloading outside flats.
Walkers: Very welcome – Arkland is a good location for walking forestry, lochside or mountain tracks. There are some Munros in the area. Drying facilities and a tumble dryer available. There is parking alongside Arkland for motorcycles and a secure shed available for bicycles.
Divers: Good areas for diving available in Loch Fyne
Location and Communications: In centre of small village of Inveraray on a main bus route from Glasgow A82/A83. Approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
Collection at nearest train stations (Arrochar/Tarbet Loch Lomond or Dalmally), Glasgow or Prestwick airports or ferry can be arranged.
Close to old Inveraray Jail – an unusual and fascinating place to visit
