My brand new 1 bed portered apartment would suit a couple, and is located in one of the coolest parts of London. It is made for tourists as well as professionals working in the City or Canary Wharf. All central tourist attractions are within easy reach by tube or on foot. Boris bike docking stations are also within 10 mins walk. Despite its central location, it is tucked away on a quiet street and offers a living with a very strong village feel. There's even the trendy maltby street farmers market at weekend...right outside!
Two people can comfortably live in this apartment. There's an open plan living/dining area. The brand new modern kitchen has all modern appliances and lovely LED recess lighting. The bath room is modern hotel standard. There's a state-of-the-art remote climate control system. The double bed is a Laura Ashley design and Very comfortable. And you can wake up with views over the south of the city.
The entire flat will be yours for the duration of your stay. The porter is on call between 8:30am - 4pm. There's a leafy shared courtyard area with wooden walkways. If you want to stock up on the best fresh produce, there's an organic farmers market on the doorstep at weekend.

There are probably many books and information about London and UK. I can still add something of my personal experience of living here. Coming from China, I have lived in London for 11 years now. From a student to a permanent residence. I have travelled a lot, from the magical New York City, to the exciting HK and Shanghai, to the charming Rome, Geneva, Vienna... London has its wonderful charm to draw me back from all my travel..... London has changed so much during the past 5 years thanks to Boris, it combines the modern liveliness with the old fashioned English elegance. It is just one of the greatest cities on the planet.
Bermondsey is one of the up coming areas in London. It is trendy, unique, exciting and low key. It is central and it is tucked away in a quiet spot. It has all the elements of living in an world class urban city. It satisfies your interest in culture, fitness, leisure and food. It gives you access to river and park. It has all the top restaurants nearby offering Spanish, Italian, French, English, Thai, Chinese, and even argentinian steak house, it has all the casual and cozy cafes offering the best coffee and healthy snacks. It has the artisan farmers market next door and the antique shops. It also has modern wine bars. Let alone all the tourist attractions within easy reach.
