Holiday Cottages Yorkshire covers more than just Yorkshire. Our properties extend from the stunning Lake District with some of the most spectacular walks to be had between the mountains and lakes. Down to Lancashire and into the Yorkshire Dales with quaint villages and farmsteads. Into the Vale of York and into the majestic and unspoilt North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast with the traditional seaside towns such as Whitby and Scarborough sure to the soul. Then down into the Peak District which is a rambler's heaven and naturalists delight. We have something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Gunnerside is a quaint, former lead-mining village in Swaledale, North Yorkshire, and is located at the base of Gunnerside Gill which is a narrow, rocky gorge where remains of the villages mining past can be found. The village is ideally located and walkers are able to join up with the Coast to Coast route.
