For older children there is a den in one of the barns. There are three double bedrooms (two double one twin) and two bathrooms, one with roll top bath. The master bedroom has a balcony which benefits from stunning views over the neighbouring countryside.

Situated in South Kilkenny in the South East of Ireland, this beautiful period cottage is an ideal base for exploring the South East of Ireland. 30 minutes drive south will bring you to the historic viking port of Waterford famed for its crystal. A little further out and you will reach some stunning beaches at Dunmore East, Tramore, Annestown, Woodstown and Bonmahon. To the West are the beautiful Comeragh Mountains home to Mahon falls. 40 minutes drive North East brings you to historic Kilkenny, former capital of Ireland with its castle, historic parliament and bustling streets full of cafes and restaurants.
Piltown is ideally located for a country and seaside holiday. Horseriding is available at the nearby Belline Estate (5 minutes walk) and Mount Juliet. Fishing enthusiasts are well catered for with the Rivers Suir and Nore close by. Walkers can explore the many dedicated Trail Kilkenny walks and more experienced walkers can explore the Comeragh Mountains. The beaches of County Waterford are close by enough to enjoy day trips to the seaside. For history buffs there are numerous sites to see including Ormonde Castle at Carrick on Suir, Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown, the historic port of Waterford and Kilkenny Castle and Parliament in Kilkenny.
