Newquay is a fabulous place to holiday. It enjoys a particularly mild climate and with an early Spring ,good Summer and sunshine late into the Autumn.

Even the Winters are milder than most of the UK.

Newquay has great beaches including one of the finest surfing beaches in Europe ,Fistral from which you are literally 100m.Having travelled the world, the Cornish coastline is second to none and this is a great place from which to explore it. Ideally situated for day trips; Dairyland and the theme parks Crealy and Flambards are good fun for families. Eden project and the Lost gardens of Heligan make for a great day out. There are also some lovely National trust properties nearby like Trelissick, Trerice and Bedruthan Steps which are all worth a visit. Watergate Bay and The Extreme Academy are closeby for the adventurous types .And for the foodie Cornwall is definitely on the map with the Beach Hut ,Paul Ainsworths' No 6 and Rick Steins in Padstow 20mins away and while there why not combine it with a visit to the camel trail and a cycle to the Camel Valley Vineyard. Literally there is something for everyone.

Newquays' obvious attraction are the beaches .You will have a fantastic view of Fistral while you sit out on the balcony and the choice of many more depending on what you wish to do.The beaches are life-guarded and safe for you children to enjoy.There are numerous surf schools and Lusty beach is a hive of activity with jet ski tours/abseiling zip wire and coasteering.In the Summer the beaches play host to a variety of festivals and surf competitions culminating in Boardmasters at Watergate bay.While there you can check out both the Beach café and Jamie Olivers' Fifteen the food and the view are spectacular.

Newquay itself offers ,for the kids The Blue Reef Aquarium ,an excellent Zoo set in lovely gardens with a boaing lake leisure centre and tennis courts.For the golfers among you ,you are literally overlooking Newquay Golf course and you have a variety of choice with some of the best links golf courses to choose from Trevose, St Enodoc and and Perranporth , not to mention the lovely parkland course St Mellion.
