Situated in a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, the popular seaside resort of Minehead is located on the spectacular North Somerset Coast. This welcoming town offers a mile long esplanade as well as an impressive golden beach and pretty harbour, visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley. Excellent fishing is also available here and visitors can enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey on the West Somerset Railway from the seafront, or alternatively, take a trip to Blenheim Gardens - winner of numerous awards for its beautiful floral displays and fascinating model village.
