The Bowjey

This is the 21st century's answer to the seaside holiday home: The Bowjey is reminiscent of Miami Beach style deco, gleaming in its whiteness and perched high on the hillside above Newlyn Harbour. The interior is a mix of cool concrete, dazzling chrome and large glass windows. The house has been finished to a super-high standard and the overall feel is swishy modern, with high ceilings, a split level and solid white oak floors. Upside down, you enter through the top floor into a white-walled and spacious open plan living room with deep comfy leather sofas to melt into at the end of day. The dining space seats up to six people.

The slick white contemporary kitchen has plenty of space and all the right kit to cook up a feast of fresh fish sourced from the many nearby traders of Newlyn.A swirling white polished concrete staircase leads you down to the lower level. The large master bedroom is cool and airy with a comfortable king size bed, a marbled ensuite bathroom and spacious walk in wardrobe. French windows open straight out into the morning sun and onto the lower patio and garden, making this the ideal room to wake up in. The second bedroom is a roomy double en-suite, both equipped with complementary spa toiletries to help unwind and relax.

The glass fronted balcony is the perfect place from which to gaze on sky and sea or observe the comings and goings of the fisherman and their many vessels. One can chase the sun throughout the day by making use of the two separate east and west facing patio areas.

The views of Mounts Bay and beyond are quite simply spell binding. Whatever the weather or time of day there is always something inspiring to watch. A vast five meter retractable window brings the outdoors in and literally places you in the view. If that's not enough, the glass fronted balcony is the perfect place from which to gaze on sky and sea or observe the comings and goings of the fisherman and their many vessels. One can chase the sun throughout the day by making use of the two separate east and west facing patio areas.

Penzance

Within short walking distance to the village below there are many pubs, gourmet restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and the world renowned Newlyn Art Gallery. Wander down quaint streets and pass the cobbled courtyards of the fisherman's cottages as you meander down to the bustling harbour quays. Enjoy Fresh fish from a multitude of local merchants and day boats or catch your own from one of the piers!

Just five minutes by car or a twenty minute stroll along the waterside is Penzance, the principle town of West Cornwall. Nestled in the shelter of Mounts Bay and dominated by the grandeur of St Michaels Mount, Penzance is a lively town that faces southeast so its location gives it a temperate climate. Penzance offers sea links to the famous sub tropical Isles of Scilly.

Ten miles away lies romantic St Ives offering a truly cultural experience with over 40 galleries hidden down cobbled streets. The sweeping St Ives Bay hails two of the countries finest beaches, Porthmeor and Porthminster.

With awe-inspiring cliff top scenery and spectacular views to Long ships and Wolf Rock lighthouses, Lands End, mainland Britain's most westerly point, is one of the most visited outdoor attractions in Cornwall. Stop en route at Sennen beach
