The Barata Ribeiro is the Main Street in Copacabana with the Nossa Senhora de Copacabana Avenue.

In Barata Ribeiro cars are heading towards Lagoa, Leblon, Ipanema and Barra while at Nossa Senhora de Copacabana Avenue the cars go towards Botafogo, Flamengo, Catete, Lapa, and downtown.

In Rio de Janeiro is very common to use public transport. Even early in the morning, the buses are usually not empty.

Another reason to be easy to locate in Rio, is the most interesting and famous neighborhoods are beside each other. You can see on the map that following the beach, you can walk, ride or drive in a short time by several places.

Tips transportation:

If you want to go to Ipanema or Leblon take in the Barata Ribeiro 124 - Botanical Garden (Garden) X Central (Via Copacabana) The 464 Or So Maracanã X Leblon - In Truth There are Several Other Bus Doing This Way, St Neighborhoods For Neighbors, And So Do not Worry, Driving Well not miss!

If you want to go to Lapa and Flamengo take on Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana to Leblon 433 Vila Isabel X 464 or X MARACANÃ LEBLON

If you want to go to the city center, there are several options and almost all numbers are written "central" in front. A good option is to go underground, since you rented the apartment is close to two subway stations!

Leaving the building and walking to your left, you walk 3 blocks and turning right to walk 4 blocks. About 5 minutes to arrive at each station, very easy!

If you want to go to the pond, you can catch a bus on the street Toneleiros (located behind the Barata Ribeiro) There you will find the 433 heading towards the pond and several other buses that will do the same path

The tourist places more complicated (or both) to go is the Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf.

For Christ, take on Avenida Nossa Senhora de C. 583 and the bus back to take the 584 bus which will leave you at Rua Barata Ribeiro

To go in Sugarloaf you can catch in Av Nossa Senhora de Copacabana written a bus "Urca" (but that takes time to pass). Another alternative is to take a Bus and any jump at the first point after the tunnel, across the Rio Sul shopping From Rio Sul shopping you can get directions and get going until the sugar loaf. Does walking 15 to 20 minutes.
