The Tuscany region

The Chianti region is mainly famous for its wine and olive oil production. In fact there are many places where you could taste local wines and also buy directly from the producers. The area itself is magnificent, the hills that you'll see from the windows of your bedroom in Villa Talente are the best paint we could have put in the bedrooms.

Many small and perfectly well-preserved medieval towns are in the area: S. Gimignano, Montefioralle, Colle Val D'Elsa, the old part of Siena and Florence, Monteriggioni, Certaldo.

San Casciano in Val di Pesa

The Chianti region is maybe one of the most peculiar in our country. The landscape, despite the heavy humanization that it went under, being firstly inhabited by the ancient Etruscans and then the Romans, is still beautiful and untouched.

We are just 3 km from the centre of San Casciano Val di Pesa and the same distance from Cerbaia, two middle-sized towns where you could find all the commodities. Besides that Florence isn't far at all.

We are also half-way to Siena and San Gimignano and our place is a good point where to start your itinerary in Tuscany.
