Guyzance Hall is only 15 miles North East of the market town of Morpeth and only 4 miles inland from the coastal villages of Warkworth and Amble. Warkworth is surrounded by the River Coquet and has lots to offer visitors. After a stroll around the castle, you could take a walk along the banks of the River Coquet and take a boat ride across to the English Heritage's Hermitage site. You will be spoilt for choice for somewhere to eat as there are lots of good quality pubs, tearooms and restaurants serving a good selection of traditional bar meals and local ales. (many of the pubs are also dog friendly).

Just a short walk is the fishing village of Amble, known locally as 'the friendliest port'. There are regular boat trips from the harbour to Coquet Island where you will see Puffins, seals and may types of sea birds.

Just under 20 minutes drive is the popular market town of Alnwick. No trip to Alnwick is complete without visiting Alnwick Castle 'home of the Hogwarts( if you are a Harry Potter fan) and of course the spectacular and much publicised Alnwick Gardens which has a grand cascade waterfall as the centre piece to this impressive landscaped garden owned by the duchess of Northumberland. Within the town centre of Alnwick there is a range of quaint shops, ideal for picking up a souvenir or two, a theatre/cinema, restaurants and an indoor leisure centre with a public swimming pool.
