Whitsun View is a charming, stone-built end terrace cottage for 4 set in a perfect location for enjoying the beautiful Northumberland region. The wonderful market town of Wooler is based at the foothill of the Cheviots and at the edge of the breathtaking Northumberland National Park and this property is just a few steps from all the town's many amenities. The unspoilt beaches of Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell are within easy driving distance and the Scottish border is only 20 minutes. With one double and one twin bedroom, Whitsun View will accommodate a family, a party of friends, walkers, cyclists, explorers and holiday makers in general looking for a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and offers plenty of fresh air and exercise to those who want it and a warm and cosy retreat at the end of a day's outings.

There is an extensive garden at the rear with a patio area, table and chairs and BBQ plus a vegetable garden you can use for adding fresh produce to your own meals.

Accommodation Summary:

Downstairs: There is a small, heated porch with a shoe rack for your walking boots, coats etc.

The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with everything you will need including a gas oven and hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, as well as a washing machine, radio and I-pod docking station. The pine table has seating for 4.

The lounge has three comfortable sofas, a feature gas fire, TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There are lovely views of the garden and towards the hills from the lounge and master bedroom. In addition, there are plenty of books, games and maps as well as tourist information to help you plan your days out in the area.

Upstairs, the Master Bedroom has a double bed with bedside drawers and lamps, a double wardrobe (with plenty of coat hangers), chest of drawers, an easy chair and TV. The second bedroom has twin beds with a bedside table and lamp, wardrobe, mirror and feature fireplace.

The family bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside: There is parking for up to 2 cars at the front of the property and a garage for storing bikes, (a tyre repair kit is even provided) or you can store walking gear, golf clubs etc. At the rear, the large, enclosed garden has a patio and BBQ area, as well as a vegetable plot maintained by a local gardener and guest are welcome to eat some of the produce!

This is an ideal destination for families and holiday makers who love the outdoors and exploring. You can even bring bikes and store them in the garage or rent them locally. If you like golf, there is a magnificent local course (and reasonably priced too!) The town itself has a good range of shops. bars and restaurants, plus a fantastic Delicatessen and quirky coffee shops with tasty treats, artwork and Wi-Fi on offer, as well as petrol garages and a bank with a cash point so you will not be without your usual amenities while staying here.
