HOUSE RULES

SMOKING

All Guests are to be Non-smokers. This is a non smoking apartment and non smoking building. Security deposit will be forfeited. Do NOT book this apartment if you are a smoker. You will lose your deposit if you smoke in this building.

NOISE

We live in a quiet building, so loud music and large parties are prohibited. Guests must not make excessive noise or disturb neighbours and other residents. No excess noise or running in pool area.

DEPOSIT

A $500.00 deposit is held by Holiday Lettings and will be returned if no damage occurs. It will be refunded with key return and if apartment is in undamaged, clean and tidy condition. Pool towels washed, dishes clean and in cupboards. Yes, Burned pans are damaged if not cleaned.

RETURN OF KEYS

Please do not lose these keys. You will be charged $250.00 for each set to be replaced.

DAMAGE

STRICTLY NO eating or drinking including chocolates/lollies/crisps in bedrooms. Ample wardrobe space is provided and guests are asked to store their belongings in the wardrobe/drawers to avoid damaging walls.

Please note that guests are responsible for any damage or loss to the property. Please contact me prior to departure to notify me of any spills, damages or breakages.

CHECK-OUT

Check out is at 10:00 AM unless otherwise negotiated.

CHECK IN

Check in normally takes place at 3pm or after on arrival day, although by prior arrangement you can usually arrive and leave your luggage at the apartment after 12:00 PM, whilst the cleaning cycle is being finished. If you need early check in you will need to book the night prior to ensure the apartment is available.

**check in between 2pm and 7pm. late check in may be possible for additional charge but please advise before booking to confirm***

Keys are provided by myself (or a check in person on my behalf) by meeting you at the apartment at a pre arranged time. You will normally have the opportunity to be shown around and to ask questions at this time. We will let you know how to access the building, the pool, BBQ and gym area, parking if booked, and also show you where the linens/towels are kept.

The bedding arrangements should be advised before check in; 4 singles or 2 kings, or 1 king with two singles.

ELECTRICITY and GAS

Included. Please be courteous with your usage. Please note that this is a large apartment and lights are expensive, so please turn off lights whenever possible to conserve energy.

WATER

Included – yes I PAY for Water. Brisbane and Australia have an extreme water shortage. We pay per litre for water. Please be respectful of myself and the environment and keep showers to a reasonable length and one per day per person.

Extra persons

You will be charged for any additional persons using the unit if you have not booked the unit for the exact number of persons staying in the unit. If you are found to have additional people you will be charged 40.00 per night.

This is a private home and not a commerical hotel or accommodation. It is self catering so you will be responsible for cleaning and supplies during your stay.

With the well respected Gallery of Modern Art, State Library, Queensland Museum and Performing arts centre QPAC the city offers much more than the quiet town it appears to be. There are plenty of vibrant cafes and galleries in the city and inner suburbs, art-lovers and foodies alike are spoilt for choice.

As home to numerous sporting teams Brisbane never disappoints the sports fans. Moreton Island, a large sand island, located around 50 kilometres north east of Brisbane, is very popular with visitors and locals alike. The Tangalooma ferry will take you across to the island, where you can feed dolphins or swim in the crystal clear waters. The Tangalooma ferry is around 30 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD

Within easy driving distance of the world renowned Gold and Sunshine Coasts and not far from the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane makes a great travel base. A one hour south takes you to all the action of the Gold Coast. A one hour drive north takes you to the quieter Sunshine Coast with fantastic restaurants and endless beaches
