It is very cheap to eat and drink out in Slovenia. The nearest supermarket is in Cerkno, but we recommend Tolmin, or Idrija for a variety of shops. Banks are everywhere, especially cash point dispensers so it's very easy to get euros (currency). Slovenia is in a great place to see other nearby countries it's bordering countries are; Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia. Cerkno is very close to the Italian Border. Slovenia is a small but perfectly formed country about the size of Wales with mountains and coastline. People compare the shape of the country to a chicken and we are located in the chickens bottom.
Nearby are The Franja Partisan Hospital, a 2nd world war museum. Ravenska jama cave (famous for its aragonite formations), Divje Babe, archaeological park where The Divje Babe flute was found, a cave bear femur pierced by spaced holes and suggested as being the world's oldest known musical instrument.
