The Lothians region

Scotland has so much to offer, from culture, history to the friendly people, it makes for a great holiday destination.

Edinburgh is a wonderful city to visit. It is truly beautiful and as Scotland's capital, there is lots to see and do. In August 2009, Edinburgh has topped a poll of 'British Cities to see before you die'! confirming its status as the ultimate British tourist destination.

From the historic cobbled streets, wynds and court yards of the medieval old town to the elegant Georgian New town, Edinburgh is not only beautiful but steeped in history - making it a top destination. Wonder the streets by foot to soak up the atmosphere or take a guided tour and learn more about the fascinating history of Scotland’s capital.

Edinburgh's weather can be unpredictable and during the summer it is advisable to bring a waterproof jacket. However it can be reasonably warm - up to about 24 degrees to pack that T-shirt too!
