After years of being disappointed with the quality of accommodation on package deals, we have created in Diana 44 somewhere that we, ourselves, feel proud to call our holiday home. The apartment is ideally located in Universal Gardens, Kato Paphos, Paphos, Cyprus just a pleasant, level stroll from the seafront and is furnished and equipped to a high standard. There is a lovely taverna/cafe just round the corner as well as shops for day to day needs.

The apartment has everything we wanted ourselves - a huge swimming pool set in beautiful gardens with a balcony just begging to be enjoyed (mums and dads can sit and watch their children playing in the gardens below!) where there is a large table and chairs for al fresco dining and loungers for relaxing - lots of space, an abundance of light and a kitchen properly equipped for cooking or preparing a snack complete with granite worktops and washing machine - bedrooms with enough wardrobe space to actually put away your clothes - a bathroom that you feel like using with enough storage for all your toiletries - comfortable sunbeds - far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax and chill out - close enough to everything to be able to walk. We supply all linen and towels (including beach towels!) as well as little extras like a hairdryer, books, games and beach toys. There are efficient ceiling fans in all main living areas included in the price as well as optional air conditioning in the bedrooms.

A car is not necessary (unless you want to explore Cyprus further afield - for example the Troodos mountains) as Paphos has so much to offer and everything is accessible on foot. Other areas can be accessed by the very efficient and inexpensive bus service and of course there are numerous day trips which can be booked such as jeep safaris, the bird park, snorkelling and fishing trips, sailing, diving, shopping excursions, quad bike safaris and many more besides. Or...you can just chill and relax by the pool, the choice is yours!

Paphos has an abundance of gorgeous restaurants and bars, shops and cafes galore and we have listed many of our favourites in our guest book.

Diana 44 is an ideal base for exploring the most wonderful island of Cyprus; we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The balcony is furnished with table and chairs for six for enjoying al fresco dining and two sunloungers for relaxing (four extra loungers for use around the pool). The last of the suns rays can be soaked up on the balcony before the spectacular sunsets and at night the pool area is particularly beautifully lit.

Further details

We try to be as flexible as possible and like to allow guests to stay in the apartment right up until their flight time, where possible. How frustrating it is to be pushed out into the heat with hours to kill and nowhere to deposit luggage or shower!

Similarly, changeover days, as well as arrival and departure times are also flexible.

We handle bookings on behalf of other owners on the complex too (should our own apartment be already booked for the dates you require) and also have a beautiful two-bedroom villa just round the corner on another gorgeous small complex. Just ask for details.

The Paphos District

Southern Cyprus is arguably the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean with the most friendly and welcoming people and the most relaxed pace of life. There is year-round sunshine, a sparkling blue sea, lush scenery and wildlife courtesy of the Troodos mountains and the Akamas Peninsular, a spectacular history and culture and wonderful cities and towns to explore.

Kato Paphos

The whole area of Paphos has been added by UNESCO to its World Cultural Heritage List as there is so much to see and explore - the Tombs of the Kings, the Mosaics, the Odeon, Aphrodites' Baths, Petra tou Romiou and more. There are numerous museums and galleries to visit.

Kato Paphos is the area within Paphos that is closest to the seafront and harbour. The beach is 'blue flag' rated and there are some gorgeous cafes and restaurants right along the front.

There is so much to see and do in Paphos and in Cyprus in general it is difficult to list here but definitely try quad bike safaris, donkey trekking, the bird park, the water park, jet skiing, paragliding, banana boats, glass bottom boat rides, sea fishing trips, shopping trips, Troodos mountain range, the Akamas Peninsular, Coral Bay, Polis, eating out...
