Attached to the owners stone built property but with its own private entrance in a quiet backwater within the village.
An arched entrance leads to the private courtyard which can be used for outdoor dining. French doors lead to a contemporary furnished lounge with dining area, leather sofa and flat screen television. From the lounge a hallway leads to the fitted kitchen including dishwasher, ceramic hob, fan oven, microwave and butler style sink with a view over the courtyard. Also leading from the hallway is the bedroom with king size bed, quality crisp white bedding and en-suite with walk-in shower and underfloor heating.
From the doorstep there are walks up onto the limestone 'edges' with stunning views across the Peak District and an easy
walk into the grounds of Chatsworth House.
The village of Baslow has 3 public houses and numerous restaurants including one with a Michelin star. There is a well-stocked village store, post office, art gallery and 12th. Century church.

Situated in the heart of the Peak District, close to Chatsworth House and Bakewell.
The Nook is situated on the edge of Baslow village and approximately four miles from Bakewell, and located in the Peak District National Park. Within walking distance to Chatsworth House and estate, gritstone crags and moorlands.
Baslow provides the ideal Peak District central base from which to visit the many and varied attractions on offer. These include Bakewell market town, Buxton spa town and Hope Valley and scenic Derwent Dams are a short drive.
Close by is the magnificent stately home of Chatsworth House (Residence of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire), is only walking distance from The Nook through the beautiful parkland. Haddon Hall near Bakewell and Hardwick Hall are both a short easy drive.
