As one of two holiday cottages on the site, this is a well equipped home from home providing spacious and bright accommodation, as well as a raised patio with furniture - ideal for relaxing after a day out. There is also shared access to a wonderful lawned garden, ideal for ball games and sunbathing. There are several fishing lakes within a few minutes' walk, as well as access to the River Wensum and various local amenities, making this an incredibly well placed property within a lovely region.

The Dereham / Bylaugh area
The tiny hamlet of Bylaugh, noted for its Saxon round-towered church, is situated along the River Wensum between the villages of Swanton Morley and Bawdeswell. Both of these larger villages boast a shop and pubs that serve excellent food. Swanton Morley also has a butchers and delicatessen as well as a village bakery. Close by is the large market town of Dereham which provides a number of shops and supermarkets, a sports centre, cinema, church, museums, and the Mid Norfolk Heritage Railway. There is also a traditional weekly market held on Tuesdays and Fridays in the square. The city of Norwich is close by and is packed with quality bars and restaurants in addition to its impressive cathedral and castle. The surrounding countryside offers many great opportunities for walking, fishing and cycling and is within reasonable driving distance of Sandringham, the Norfolk Showground and the beaches at Cromer and Hunstanton.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
