A stable door opens into the country kitchen with dining table, an oil-fired Rayburn which powers the central heating system, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer.

There is a stunning living room with flagged floor, wood-burning stove, beamed ceiling, built in cupboards, and deep sumptuous sofas. To the front there is a stone built porch for welly storage.

Upstairs to the bathroom with bath and shower, wc and basin, one double bedroom with feature fireplace and one twin room.

To the rear there is a long garden and gated driveway leading to two parking places and log store. To the front there is a stone walled garden with table, chairs and a barbecue.

Logs for the fire, oil for the Rayburn, electricity, bed linen are included. Please bring your own towels.

A tranquil haven, Dentdale is 10 miles long, with the high fells including Whernside, Aye Gill Pike & Great Combe dominating the skyline, with The Howgill fells & Lakeland peaks to the west.

2 real ale pubs in Dent , both serve food until 8.30pm, 2 tea shops/cafes & a village store that is also the post office on Tuesday & Thursday morning. The Heritage Centre, (museum of local history) artist's studio & village store.

Great walks & cycle routes, low & high level, sea views out in to Morecambe Bay from the top of Crag Hill. Lazy walks along the banks of the River Dee & The Dales Way.
