Sit on the large balcony, enjoying panoramic views across the patchwork of orange and lemon groves, olives and almond blossoms of the Pedreguer Valley below. This tranquil setting is just a few mins. from the bustling cafe culture of nearby Denia; the award winning wine region of Jalon Valley; the resort town of Javea; The Rock of Calpe and the mountain fortress of Guardalest. Swim in the mountain streams and falls of Font'Algar; rummage for antiques in the local Rastross; witness the colour of Fiesta!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearby town of Denia is dominated by ancient castle ruins, illuminated by night. The beautiful old town is unspoilt. It offers a thriving boat club and harbour area, with bustling cafes and fine,well priced restaurants. The town boasts quality shopping, Gucci, Tag Heur, etc., but retains much of its Spanish flavour, with a strong community spirit, an arts centre and gallery. Throughout the year, the town takes part in religous and cultural fiestas. It has a modern Railway station, with lines to all routes along the coast. The region is steeped in history and tradition. Enjoy the colourful markets and rastros - antiques!
Miles of sandy beaches are just 10 mins. drive north, of La Sella, while rugged, rocky coves follow the coast south.(Great for snorkling!) A drive into the mountains will take you to Font d'Algar, a cascading waterfall, creating freshwater swimming pools.This apartment is well situated for access to all main attractions, from the Terra Mitica theme park, about 40 mins drive south - to Calpe Rock, Altea, and Javea just 15 - 30 mins. The beautiful Jalon Valley, renowned for its wine, is also only a short drive away. The artists' enclave at the medieval fortress of Guardalest is another point of interest. You can easily spend a day touring Alicante or Valencia - or if Benidorm is more your thing, it is only a 40 min drive away.
The back drop of Montgo Mountain National Park offers wonderful opportunity for walkers, hikers and bikers, while all manner of watersports are available along the coast.


Denia / La Sella Development area

The La Sella Golf Course was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. The club house is approx. half-a mile from the apartment, and does splendid tappas, with drinks, or coffee and pastries, overlooking the fairway. A 5-Star Marriott Hotel and Spa was completed there in 2003.
Well maintained tennis courts to suit the highest standards, with plunge pool for cooling off, and a patio cafe and bar.
Riding stables offers hacking with packed lunches.
The whole location is great for walkers and bikers. Watersports are available everywhere. Great snorkling!
Antique hunting, wine tasting, local colour by way of the endless Fiestas across the region.
There is a communal pool just below the apartment, though there are a number of pools on the complex all of which can be used. The gardens are mature, beautifully landscaped and fully maintained. There is a small play area for children. Well maintained tennis courts and riding stables on site. Also available on site is a Bank, a Pharmacy, a Laundry, a Restaurant and Bar, a Supermarket and a site office, or Servicio.

Fly to Alicante, or Valencia - La Sella is 40 mins drive from both airports
Cheap Flights available from Bristol Airport, Via Easyjet.
Carhire available from the airports. Recommend Marira Car Hire.
Local trains and buses from nearby Denia town.
Taxis run regularly from town and La Sella complex.
In the summer, small train runs from the complex, through the valley, to the main towns. The Lemon Express.

The apartment is accessed by steps. There are three balconies in all. Room heaters are provided. Its elevated position allows for a welcome breeze when the French doors are open. Wicker chairs and a table are situated on the front balcony.There is a communal pool just below the apartment, though there are a number of pools on the complex all of which can be used. Bookings can be made by email, or over the telephone. A deposit of £50 is required at time of booking and payment in full two weeks prior to the holiday. Payments can be made via our secure online payment facility, Paypal, direct from a credit card.


Conditions

Because of the balconies, I would say not suitable for children under 5. Access is by steps. No cats of dogs. No smoking inside the apartment.
