About the home
Located on the La Sella Golf Resort, Denia/Pedreguer only a short walk across a small natural park to the tennis courts, small supermarket, restaurant, bar, chemist, internet café & riding stables. The golf course has 27 holes and is the largest golf course on the Costa Blanca! Super Golf Club next to the Marriott Hotel and Spa. The Marriott also offers massages, a gymnasium, manicure, pedicure, mud packs etc if you want to spoil yourselves!
A pretty house, facing away from the rest of this small development. Fabulous community gardens. Ground floor with entrance hall & arch on left to living room & covered terrace (dining) with steps down to the gardens. On the right is a new shower room & straight ahead a good sized kitchen plus separate utility area. The property can sleep 5 (at a push) but better with 4!! Main double bedroom with 2m x 2m bed, patio doors to small balcony with sea views, second double bedroom with twin beds 90cm x 2m. Large shower room upstairs. Ideal for tennis fans, golf players, walkers, horse riders, swimmers!! Or just "chillers" !! Addition of WiFi this year as well as UK tv !! Beautifully maintained swimming pool surrounded by trimmed lawns & palm trees. Only a few metres away!

Covered & open terrace off the living room via sliding patio doors. Steps down to the community gardens.
Quiet location, away from the pool etc but only 20 metres !! Pool surrounded by lush lawns & palms. Ample sun bathing areas!! Pop across (75m) to the little supermarket in the morning for your freshly baked bread & criossants. Need a pre-dinner drink? Across the road are two restaurants. The more popular is Giramondo´s which is Spanish run with the best pizzas, a variety of pasta dishes,fish, beautiful steaks, great pork and a very good wine list! Watch the evening tennis players work up a thirst whilst you sip your beer on the outside terrace! Local restaurants are only a few km away if you want to venture out. Beaches at Denia are a 5 minute drive away. Stay at home & BBQ one evening or lunchtime!!

Tennis courts are available for everyone for a modest fee! Want a lesson? The tennis pro will be there to show you how!! Feel like a saunter through the countryside on horse back? Try one of the Spanish horses at the stables! Have a lesson if you wish! Like walking? There are organised walks along various country lanes & mountains if you feel energetic!! Might be too hot!! Cool off in the large community pool. Pamper yourself with a Spa Experience in the Marriott Hotel. Massage? Facial? An hour in the gym? All these are close by!!
Play a round of golf on this magnificent course. Hire a buggy if it is too hot!! The 28th hole will welcome you!

We would appreciate non-smokers. The house is not suitable to include pets. There are air conditioning units in the living area & the bedrooms. THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR COT, HIGH CHAIR & STAIRGATE. Please think of our electricity bills and global warming (the poor polar bears & penguins) and turn the ac units OFF if you are not in the room/house. Please also close doors & windows to keep the cool air in.................thanks!! There is a recently installed tv package with UK tv channels. We have a selection of DVD' s if you feel like a night in!! If you are staying more than one week please change your own bed linen/towels and put them through the washing machine provided. They will soon dry! If there are two sets of used linen left on your departure I will have to charge you for the laundering of one set!! €12/set!! Please use the washing machine!!
The barbeque. Everyone loves cooking outside but PLEASE clean the BBQ after use.
For stays of over 3 weeks there will be a charge of €50 for cleaning upon vacating & €10/week for WiFi.
Conditions
We don't mind what days of the week you want to start or finish your holiday. We do ask for a €200 "bond" on the day of arrival for breakages or damages. This is returnable. For stays of over two weeks duration the deposit requested is €300. The property is on a septic tank & so NOTHING down the loo's other than normal organic waste (!) & loo paper. No "Kleenex", "Wet Wipes", tampons, "Always", nappies etc please!!
There is UK tv. Wifi installed in 2010. One favour please--could you water the plant pots during your stay?!! There aren't many! Thanks!

The North Costa Blanca region enjoys hot summers and USUALLY mild winters!! Despite the heat, the vegetation remains very green throughout the year. The La Sella Golf Resort (where this property is located!) was started some 20 years ago, and is now, apart from a few individual plots, complete.
The Resort is very well maintained with lush community gardens, huge swimming pools, lovely private gardens, well lit wide roads, everyday rubbish collection, 24 hour security (men patrolling in cars) etc. 75 metres from the property is a small supermarket (with bakery too!), tennis courts, riding stables, internet café, chemist, two restaurants and a bar.
The Denia / La Sella Development area
Only a few km away are 21km of sandy beaches on the Denia coastline. Denia itself boasts a mass of history. This dates back as far (possibly!) as Neolithic times, followed later by a Greek settlement. Then the Romans arrived in the 3rd century BC and evidence of this Roman occupation is still visible now. The Muslim occupation occurred between the 8th to the 13th centuries and it was during this period that the castle was built. This castle is still in evidence and is lit up at night. A spectacle! In 1244 the Christians re-conquered the town. The 19th century brought prosperity in the form of the raisin trade. In the 20th century prosperity arrived with the advent of tourism , followed later on by massive property development.
In the opposite direction To Denia is the sandy Arenal beach in Javea. For a day out there are beaches in Calpe, Benidorm, Gandia and beyond!! Water sports? Try Jet-Skis, water skiing, wind surfing etc. Need to entertain the children? Go to Terra Mitica Theme Park & Zoo, Mundomar Dolphinarium, Aqualandia Water Park. All three are in Benidorm. Special night out? Benidorm Palace offers a fabulous dinner plus a unique cabaret show on the largest stage in Europe. There are many retaurants in Javea, Denia, Moraira where you can eat out for 10 euros/head!

Payment:- 50% of the rental monies would be due on booking. The rest would be due 6 weeks prior to your holiday!!
