The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
According to the World Heath Organisation this part of the Costa Blanca has 'one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world'. Summers are long and hot and winters are cool with occasional rain. Dramatic mountain ranges form the backdrop to glorious sandy beaches that sometimes stretch to the horizon.
This is the land of the orange grove and the paella where you can battle with the Moors & Christians in Alcoy, see the stunning architecture of the 'City of Arts and Sciences' and the Fallas burning in Valencia, visit the ducal palace of the Borgas in Gandia, throw tomatoes at everyone in Bunol, enjoy the views from the beautiful mountain town of Guadalest or dance the night away in Benidorm. This is not just 'The Costas', this is Spain - exuberant, vibrant and for always welcoming.
Denia / Montgo Sol area
There is something for everyone to do here, from siesta to fiesta, a stroll on the beach or a run with the bulls. Fiestas occur at different times throughout the summer in almost every town. The 'Fallas' are the most important fiestas in the region of Valencia and are held between 15th and 19th March.
Throughout the summer many towns hold 'Moors and Christians' festivals. In Denia you can run with the bulls during the 'Bois de la Mar' fiesta held in the first two weeks of July. On 21 June celebrate San Juan and the coming of summer by walking into the sea at midnight along with thousands of others. Not to be missed are the firework displays.
11km from the villa is the Safari park at Vergel. 45mins drive south, near Benidorm, are the Terra Mitica and Aqualandia theme parks. On the other hand you can relax by the pool, enjoy the view and get a tan. There are hundreds of good restaurants nearby serving Spanish, English, Chinese and Indian cuisines and many provide entertainment in the evenings.
Local English papers and a local English radio station can provide details. In March 2008, Portal de la Marina commercial centre opened on the outskirts of Ondara providing the area with a large shopping centre, ten pin bowling alley and 5 screen cinema which shows films in English.
How to get there
Just a little over an hour's drive from the airport. Detailed directions will be sent after confirmation of booking. Budget airlines include Easyjet, Jet2, Thomsonfly, Bmibaby, Monarch and Ryanair. Car hire companies include victoriacars.com, centauro.net, europcar.com and recordrentacar.com There is a bus from Alicante airport - change at Benidorm - approximately 2.5hrs depending on connections. Further details indoors: The ground floor boasts a large living room, with LCD TV, limited SKY and Spanish terrestrial digital television, that leads out onto a spacious terrace with awning. This overlooks the private swimming pool and is ideal for alfresco dining during the day and especially those warm Spanish nights. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and is conveniently situated beside the bay - windowed dining area. The villa has three double bedrooms - one downstairs and two upstairs- and a twin bedroom downstairs. Each bedroom has air con/heating and an en suite. There are oil-filled electric radiators in every room. Upstairs there is quiet seating area with TV that leads onto a large sun terrace with views to the sea and the Valencian mountains across the bay. Both upstairs bedrooms have small private terraces with impressive views of Mount Montgo. The villa is furnished with style and panache and there are quality fittings throughout. Small children are welcome and a baby bottle sterilizer and warmer as well as high chair and travel cot are provided.
Further details outdoors: 8m x 4m swimming pool. Children should be supervised at all times when using the pool. Plastic tableware is provided for use at poolside. A clothes airer is situated on the sun terrace. Secure parking for 2 cars

Rental prices, inclusive of accommodation and utilities, are per week for the villa which sleeps a maximum of 8 people. Prices include all laundry charges and laundry changes for stays of 2 weeks or more. High-chair and travel cot are available on request at no extra charge. A welcome pack is available on request. Bookings, usually Sat to Sat, but we are flexible. Arrival from 4.00pm and departure by 10.00am to allow for changeover cleaning unless agreed otherwise.
Conditions
25% of the rental fee is required to confirm a booking. To secure the booking, the balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival . If booking within 8 weeks of your stay, full payment is required. A refundable security deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking which will be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). Strictly no smoking indoors. Smoking allowed on the outside terraces. Strictly no pets. English speaking representative on hand for help and advice.
